My Take:
This novella was a quick, easy, and fun read. 😀
The writing was catchy, it held my attention and I didn’t have to pay much attention because of the short length of the book and because of how fast the mystery unfolded. I kind of found everything quite rushed; the romance between the lead pair, the mystery, the climax and how Lottie’s best friend just disappeared from the story. More pages would have done the story more justice. I think that a good story got somewhat muffled in the hurry to have the end. I would’ve liked it more if things were a little more descriptive and the mystery was built a tidbit more.
Lottie’s physic visions made the book interesting, tarot cards helped for sure. 😉 The visions gave out the clues to the mystery but again you don’t get enough time to ponder over the clues because as soon as you register one thing, something else happens.
The only problem I seem to have with the book is that it jumped from one situation to another just like that. I would definitely have liked this book longer. 😀

It’s so disappointing when a book has so much potential, but is rushed. Sometimes you need a short book like that though 🙂

That’s what confused me you know. For a short book it was good but for being better it needed to be long.😂😂
