Day 2 | 12 Days of Christmas Blogging!

I was tagged by DeannaΒ @ A Novel GlimpseΒ and Erin @Β Breathing in the PagesΒ for this Christmas tag. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ Erin’s blog has a lot of contributors so you are sure to get a lot of variety in the writing and by now most of you know that I adore Deanna’s blog. I love tagging people but this time I won’t be tagging because they won’t have 12 days to complete it either so… :/

Anyways, let’s get on with it. πŸ˜‰Β

Favorite Christmas Tradition!

I love everything about Christmas so pointing out something that is my favorite is difficult. πŸ˜€

But I think, for me, the favorite part that has kind of become a tradition in my family is opening the gifts on the Christmas morning together. Unless everyone is present or everyone has seen their gifts you can’t open yours alone. We have breakfast and then pick out our gifts from under the tree and open it one by one. Everyone staring at the one opening the gift with anticipation. The excitement in the room is contagious. πŸ˜› πŸ˜› Kind of makes it more fun! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Nothing great exactly but a little something that never fails to make me smile. πŸ˜€ ❀

Day 1 | 12 Days of Christmas Blogging!

Christmas! I have always loved December because of Christmas. The vibes for the whole month makes me cheery and bubbly. ❀ πŸ˜› I initially thought about doing a lot of Christmasy posts but well, my exams didn’t agree with me. πŸ˜› I still have one left which is on the 21st but if I wait till then, then I won’t get 12 days to complete this tag, so here we go. πŸ˜›

Favorite things about Christmas!

I love everything about Christmas! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ It makes December kind of my favorite month every year. ❀

More than anything it’s the good vibes from everything. It’s the time of sharing and giving. The love and positivity leaves me feeling all light-headed with happiness. πŸ˜€ Β I love giving gifts and love playing the role of Santa. πŸ˜› Thinking about gifts and shopping for them is fun! πŸ˜›

This isn’t exactly what I do but you get the picture! πŸ˜› πŸ˜›

Decorating the Christmas Tree! ❀ ❀ I love, love, love to do it. I love making my tree look all blingy and beautiful. There’s no such thing as too much decoration. I am like a kid when it comes to decorating my tree! ❀ πŸ˜€

All the food! The fattening devil! πŸ˜› Cakes, Chocolates, Cookies, Sweets… need I say more? πŸ˜› πŸ˜›

And all the beautiful pictures that take over internet! ❀ ❀

There’s not a thing that I don’t like about Christmas. I just love everything. This is the most peaceful and laid back time of the year for me. πŸ˜€ Everything from the weather, food, decorations, gifts; to people makes me happy. ❀ ❀

3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge! DAY 3

I was tagged by the lovely Maryan @Β 1booklife! Thank you so much dear for tagging me. πŸ˜€Β

I have always been in love with quotes and when you get a chance of sharing the quotes that make a difference in your life and help in shaping you as a person, it is difficult to select from the many quotes that have been a part of you! πŸ˜€Β

Yes, the quote is from The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield ❀ ❀

Check out my Day 1 and Day 2 posts! ❀

Here’s the last quote for this challenge-

Well, with this I end my 3 Days, 3 Quotes challenge. The final three people I want to tag for this challenge are:

I have always been in love with quotes and when you get a chance of sharing the quotes that make a difference in your life and help in shaping you as a person, it is difficult to select from the many quotes that have been a part of you! πŸ˜€Β

This quote is what gives me a reason to write. The love, the acceptance that you get from the readers is what the writers dwell on and I am no different. ❀

You already know that the quote is going to be from The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. ❀ ❀

You guys can check my Day 1 post hereΒ to know why I selected this quote. πŸ˜‰ ❀

The quote for today is-

The 3 people I would love to see doing this challenge are:Β

3 Days, 3 Quotes Challenge! DAY 1

I was tagged by the lovely Maryan @Β 1booklife! Thank you so much dear for tagging me. πŸ˜€
(By the way, I love you blog name, ❀ it is stuck in my brain. πŸ˜› )

I have always been in love with quotes and when you get a chance of sharing the quotes that make a difference in your life and help in shaping you as a person, it is difficult to select from the many quotes that have been a part of you! πŸ˜€

So, for this challenge I have decided to use 3 quotes from my favorite book The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. This book is really close to my heart and I would really be excited if you guys read it and discussed it with me. πŸ™‚

The rules are pretty simple, here they go- πŸ˜€ Β

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Post a quote forΒ three consecutive days.
  • Nominate three new bloggers each day.

Here’s the first one! ❀ ❀ Β

For this challenge I want to tag the people I found recently. πŸ˜‰

So, the first three lovely people I would love to tag are:Β

Spread the love with the awesome quotes! ❀

The Bedtime Book Tag!

It has been a long time since I was tagged to do THE BEDTIME BOOK TAG by RavenΒ @Dreamy Addictions. I read her post and I was sure this wasn’t going to be easy for me. I don’t like to categorize my books, I am actually bad at it, deciding which book made me feel what particular emotion is a difficult job for me because there are so many emotions to a book that I can’t tone it down to one. I am bad at differentiating.

Yet I typed out half the post and let it sit, thinking I would get around doing it soon but then just kept pushing it. :/ Then, Rosema @A Reading WriterΒ tagged me again for this tag. Reminding me that I had to do it. But I still didn’t.

Yesterday, Maryan @1booklifeΒ tagged me for this tag and then I decided this was it, no more reasons and no more putting it off. I told Maryan that I was going to do it yesterday but went to sleep.

Thank youΒ Matt @ Matt and his catsΒ for tagging me again and reminding me how much this particular tag made me think. πŸ˜›

I am hopeless! :/ I am so sorry for being a lazy bum. πŸ˜› Thank you so much, you three lovely ladies, for tagging me though! πŸ™‚ πŸ˜€ ❀ I will try my best to answer these questions. (I know I am too bad at it but it is supposed to be for fun, right? πŸ˜› )

1.Β A Book That Kept You Up All Night Reading

There are many, many, many books because well, I mostly don’t put down my books easily. So, I will select the most recent one, that is Deception Point by Dan Brown. (This is actually the last book I have read this month because then college happened and I haven’t got time for reading since then. πŸ˜₯ πŸ˜₯ )

2. AΒ Book That Made You Scared To Sleep

To be honest, there’s no such book because I haven’t ventured into the paranormal genre yet and then too I doubt I would ever be scared to go to sleep because of a story. I am the kind who laughs during horror movies. πŸ™‚ πŸ˜›

3. A Book That Made You Go To Sleep

I will select the most recent book for this too. It is The other side of midnight by Sidney Sheldon. It was less because of the book and more because of me being tired I guess but I surely wasn’t eager on completing it either.

4.Β A Book That Left You Tossing and Turning All Night in Anticipation of its Release

Umm… I have never exactly tracked the dates down for any of the book’s release. But there’s only one book I was waiting for. Not because of the book, there was no news about the book actually. It is Bellman and Black. The only reason for my eagerness being the book is written by the author of my favorite novel, The Thirteenth Tale, Diane Setterfield.

I didn’t come to know about the book when it was released because it was released almost after 7 years from the first book by the author. I haven’t read it yet because of the reviews but I think the reviews are unfair, everyone is comparing the book to the first book by the author. You can’t judge a book based on another. Every book has its own flavor!

5. A Book That Has Your Dream Boyfriend

I don’t have a dream boyfriend but for the fun of this question, I will select few of the books that according to me have pretty decent guys. πŸ˜‰

Seems like I like the guys from Nicholas Sparks books. πŸ˜›

6. A Book That Would Be Your Worst Nightmare to Live In

The diary of a young girl Anne Frank.

The Diary of a Young Girl

7. A Book That Reminds You of Nighttime

This is a book that I read 5 years ago. My first science fiction: Breakfast with the ones you love by Eliot Fintushel.Β

Breakfast with the Ones You Love

And also one of my recent read: These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner.

8. A Book That Had a Nightmarish Cliffhanger

I am not that into series, I mostly read series when I have the whole series so that I am not left hanging but I guess I will go with Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard.

9. A Book That You Actually Dreamed About

None, to be honest. :/

10. A Book Monster that You Would Not Want to Find Under Your Bed

Umm… more than monsters I am afraid of people. I wouldn’t want any of the backstabbers and double-crossers, from all the books that I’ve read, anywhere near me.

Many people have already done this tag, so it was difficult to search people to be tagged but yet I checked out a few blogs to see if they have done it or not. If you have already done it then I am sorry I may probably not be so good at researching. πŸ˜›
